as kagura , i think it is better to build pure ap and other defensive item you might need, magic damage reduction is not that good on kagura, becuz kagura will probably not be able one shot ppl, but had to poke them and look for a chance to go for the final blow, so if you cannt finish them one shot ,just poke til you can and that is why mdr is not that important on kagura
