Tutorial on Attaching Images/GIFs from External Sites
Notice: Looks like it isn't visible on mobile devices, need dev to update the forum Firstly, thanks for those that wrote detailed guides to contribute to the forums. If you were attaching lots of images on your thread, you really must listen to what i want to say.
Recently, the server are having trouble handling the increasing amount of bandwidth. To reduce the load, we recommend forum users to upload their media to other hosting websites and then attach it here. The added benefit is that you can upload larger GIF than 1MB that the forum limits.
Below are the image hosting websites we recommend
Steps to attach the media (tinypic.com) 1. Go to the website
2. Click "Choose File" to select your picture to upload, then click "Upload"
3. Copy the 2nd link in the list, and paste it in your post, the image will appear at that spot where you paste.
Steps to attach the media (giphy.com) 1. Go to the website
2. Click "Upload"
3. Click "Browse" to select your GIF
4. Click "Upload GIF"
5. Click "Copy Link"
6. Copy the 2nd link in the list
7. Paste the link in the your thread. Add these tag between the link the result should look something like this - [img]https://media.giphy.com/media/3oKIPBkn75tcz4Fe2Q/giphy.gif[/img]
Copy the CodeThese images will stay in your thread unless the hosting website goes down. Yes, the pictures in this tutorial is hosted on their servers, so if they are missing that means they are gone :D |
