It is very weird that Riot game going to sue Moonton at US.

Yes. All documents from Riot side is real but question is

"Is the lawsuit valid?"

"Is Moonton is a register company at US?"

"What the US Judge said?"

"Is the US Judge decision valid and applicable at China?"

One thing I very sure that Moonton didn't lie. If you said Moonton lie, show us some strong evidence not false speculation that misleading players.

The truth is that Moonton published a couple games earlier (Magic Rush & ML:5v5 MOBA) and Riot is suing them for how similar they are to LoL. Moonton is reluctant to acknowledge that those earlier games were blatant knockoffs, so they posted a response that has frustrated some of the community.  What is frustrating lots of people are the "fake news" and "scam" accusations that Moonton made in their statement, when it is such a simple matter in the US to retrieve the lawsuit documents yourself from publicly available sources.  I'm not sure if that is how things are done in China, but here one can just look up the casefile yourself, see that there really is a lawsuit, and even read the brief ourselves and laugh at how similar Magic Rush was to LoL.
The real crime, to me, is the terrible English in the statement ;) Moonton apparently has no English writers on staff that can translate a statement well, or that understand how the american legal system works (or that you can't sue a youtuber for voicing their opinion on the internet?!).

Given what seem to me to be some fairly obvious copyright violations, the likely result in my opinion is that Moonton will be fined for several violations in those earlier two games.  Riot is seeking $150K per violation, so we all hope that the fines will not be too severe.  One of the ironies to me is that Moonton has made a BETTER LoL clone (if it is a clone) than Tencent themselves. It would be sad to see a company taken down for making a *good* knockoff of a game; then for players to have no alternative but to play a *worse* knockoff made by the parent of the copied game!

I am basing my research off of what was posted on Slingshot and other websites quoting or making it its reference source. I did not say in any of my comments that I think PACER was not credible. I said Reddit is not credible because it has shown misleading information before. Based on the Slingshot link to the copyright claims, Mobile Legends has already changed artwork, map design, etc. Also with the claims of copying blue and red buff they have different effects in ML and LoL. Even items are changed.

From what I've read, the lawsuit is real as it appears in credible government websites.

Truth be told.. they did rip off this game not only from LOL, but also from the top Chinese moba king of glory which is also owned by Tencent. How so? Many heros do have similarities and the mechanics of the game as well as the features of the game functions.

In this day and age, everything can be easily copied, imitated, replicated. Just think of our mobile phones and the similarities between the various brands. What moonton did here in marketing terms was to be a second mover or fast follower. They did rip majority of the content available but I'm not saying they did not do any work on their part. A lot of work has been done to ensure certain differentiation and to create its own unique selling point. The success and acceptance of MLBB and the amount of players worldwide playing this game now is testament to this of a good product!

So moonton for your fans, be a man, face up and answer the lawsuit. Own up and pay ur necessary dues if convicted of copyright infringement or fight for your rights if you think u are merely being a fast follower and have kept infringement to a minimal. The mobile gaming industry is a very lucrative business I'm sure u've have known from your own profits. So give something back to us, your players and do whatever it takes to keep this game alive.

I wish you all the best, fight for your good game, fight for your good fans. Let's leave it to the lawyers now.

If they would remove mobile legends Helboy my brothers and sisters will get so angry that we will break out iPad this happen last time we were so good at a game then sudden news came that they shut down the game my siblings became so angry that they drop there iPad out of the window then for 1 year they had to use my iPad XD

Well I hope for the best in this lawsuit. Hope moonton survives because although this game is far from perfect, badly balanced heros, taken a chunk of my social life away, But Heck I LOVE IT. Go Go Mobile Legends Bang Bang!

After all those nerfs and lag issues mobile legends still stands strong and is still one of the most famous mobile moba's and I love it so much that I sometimes forget to sleep XD Lol
