Matchmaking (and how the game's system controls it)

Have you ever wondered why when you get win streaks you will get a losing streak?
If you had been doing good with your games, suddenly you are with noobs and bad players?
Have you ever experienced why there are times you have good games where both teams had equal chances of winning, and then other times you are bullying a team, or a team is bullying your team?

This is the reason.
The game has three "Player pools".
Before you queue for a match, you are entered into one of these player pool.

First pool - The neutral pool. Players here are matched against each other.
Second pool - Players for victory. Players are matched against those in the third pool.
Third pool - Players for defeat. Players are matched against those in the second pool.

Best way to explain all these, is to show an example:

You had a five winning streak, three of those games you had gold medals, two of those you were MVP. That means you had good results.

The game will then place you in the third pool. You will be up for defeats. You will be with bad players and you will be against better players in the second pool who are up for victory. You will most probably get a losing streak.

After that the system will place you in the first pool.
You will be up against other players in the first pool, and you will notice the games are better and fair, where both teams have equal chances of winning.
You will be in this pool for a couple of games. After a couple of games, depending on your results, you will be placed again either on the second or third pool.

This is how the game controls your win rate.
Applies to most players especially the solo queue ones.
The only exception to these are those players in squads who abuses the matchmaking system by doing 3:2.

Again, saying something negative does not always mean it is a complaint.

And saying "become a top player" does not also mean you are guaranteed to win every time.

What I am talking here is this system that can manipulate win rates.

I am solo q ranked player, already GL with 17 stars. Yes the system is like that and it is fair in the long run. Sometimes you do below average and still win because the system pair you with very good player, the other times you must try hard and carry the game even with tank or support because your mm is like a joke. cant win? Blame yourself of not strong enough to carry the game :)

and one more thing system give opposition advantage by giving gold faster so they can get gear fast and I feel this today too :)

To be 100% correct you must add bots into your explanation.
System manipulate the outcome by putting bots on both sides.
Victory team will have energetic dedicated smart bots.
Defeat team will have dumb or afk bots.

There are times those energetic bots performance decline in late game.
It is for a reason, so the opposite team will get impossible achievements like
   "come back after 20 losses"
   "20 kda in one match"
   etc.

I will not mind if system do this to full bots team.
But to the team with few human players, after they have spent a long time and tried very hard to the point that they nearly grabbed the victory. Suddenly lag hit the whole team (yes only their team not the enemy team) or bots in their team stopped playing so they got killed and lost one turret after the others and finally lost the match this is unacceptable. Please respect your customers. We are not puppets.

I don't know about bots, but since I have already played hundreds of games, I am no longer encountering bots.

There are no bots in ranked game and your explanation makes sense. Win streak last week,losing streak this week.

Sorry, I meant in the Classic Mode.
I no longer encounter bots in the Classic Mode.

I agree with you bro. Sometimes i win 8 games at a stretch and right after 7 losses.

There is easier explanation. System force your win rate to 50%.

i agree i always wondered i get long ws only to lose 2 to 3 cause of cancer players. They say some u win some u lose:)
