Slot positioning

Good day everyone,
Im just quite curious, cause everytime i play solo im always the Slot 1 in my team. I was never placed in different slot unless i play duo, trio or 5man and im not the host of course. Even duo if im the host, im stll the s1 in our team.

How about you guys did you noticed this too?

for 5man team, the order of your team before the match-up will be the same during the pick and ban
As for SoloQs its all random positioning.

its random for soloQ. you'll usually get the first slot. if you get the 3rd or lower slot, that mean your team has someone who is doing duo or trio.

people who duo or trio will always get the 1st slot. if you do duo and still got 4th/5th slot, that mean 3 person above you is doing trio.

So ironic that i am a tank player thats why i hate being first and added that i only have few heroes hahahaha

Not really, it's Pick and Ban and you have to coordinate with the team. For example if our S5 player said he can only play mage/MM, then I will definitely pick Tank. You have to speak to your team rather than being silent then afterwards complain if its your turn to pick.
