My server changed

I've been playing ML for around 5 months so far and I've always had a steady 33ms throughout ALL my games in both seasons. But just recently, my ping jumped to 80~ms and it's so fucking annoying.

It seems that I was transferred from my original server to another one.. there's that one guy who I've been playing with since I was Elite. He lives in Bulgaria and I live in Egypt. So both of us have distinct local servers, when I used to play alone I used to get my normal local ping.. 30. But playing with him made it jump to 80.

It wasn't a problem, because at least - I could voluntarily choose to either play with him or not. But now.. I'm stuck in his local server and I'm getting 80-90 pings in ALL of my games.

When I opened the leaderboards to check if my server has really changed, I found out that it did. I knew the ign's of my local top players and they weren't there. The ANNOYING part is, while scrolling in the leaderboards I fucking found MY friend's name in the fucking list of MY server like wtf ml????

Why would I get transferred to his server? I don't live there, I don't always play with the players from there, and I don't want to be there.

I've played 1000~ games so far, and only around 200~ games were with this guy from Bulgaria. The rest were played in my local server and with other friends from Asia. So his server is not even prominent in my games history, and I can't get the logic behind what happened.

Does anyone know how to fix this issue? Or at least, does anyone know how the system organizes the players in local servers? so I would... maybe... repeat what happened to get back to my original server.
