My reasoning for them to release them when new season starts is so that we can see what needs balancing earlier in the season. In my opinion, they’ll get better feedback of what’s broken and what needs improvement from the live servers with these new emblems.
Also could provide a differentiation of gameplay style and strategies from the season before. Just like how Pick and Ban did even though it was released 2 weeks before the the current ending season which was a bad move but I think they haven’t made that mistake now and learned from it.
