Hard for me to choose here, but overall I choose Grock. His passive makes him very durable (and guess what... there's walls everywhere!!). The fact it improves both his physical and magical resistance is mainly why I choose him though. His skill set also gives him the ability to escape when necessary making it hard to kill a low hp Grock if he hasn't wasted his ult already.
Gatot's passive however is also a huge deal. He can really come through in a pinch with the extra defense and hp. Plus his ult allows him to initiate or escape nicely (though initiate is hard as it's so slow). But his passive doesn't help him against magic dmg (but obviously, you can build to cover and still have enormous physical defense).
Akai is overall a well rounded tank. High mobility, can deal with pokes with passive shield, crazy CC ult. Obviously there's a reason he's the current meta tank.
Johnson's passive makes him really clutch in a clash, but everything else just seems so... lacking unfortunately. Though he's fun as hell to play {:5_133:}. But waste his passive shield, pull back and then force another clash and he's lost his advantage real quick.
Hylos has an enormous potential HP pool. And oddly enough, it's not his defense that makes him hard to deal with, but the fact that he can be so frickin offensively powerful AND tanky at the same time. In clashes, the movement speed and attack speed lowered by his 2nd skill is insane. Plus his ult gives him back hp. But if you catch him with low mana, he's a fairly easy target.
Hilda's speed is what makes her so frickin hard to kill. She can easily recover from pokes in the brush as well as gain that damn shield too. Not to mention, she can sit in brush even at low hp, slow you, then book it outta there and you're stuck moving like a turtle and unable to chase.
Lolita's are tough mostly cause they are usually cautious until the time's right. They nullify half of an enemy team's attacks as well with shield which can quickly turn a battle. But that really comes down to the individual player. But good lolita's are probably one of my biggest fears honestly.
An enraged mino is the only good mino. Everything about him is lackluster until then, but once he is, god damn he's a pain to kill. Probably one of the worst tanks imo in bad hands and one of the best in good hands. I myself am a very bad hand.
Balmond... I feel like he's a good sweeper when the battle's nearly done lol. Battling near minions and against low hp hero's, he'll be a monster. Otherwise, meh.
Franco... He's better for picking off players 1 at a time, but overall, usually one of the easier tanks to kill and make obsolete. But he can also easily turn tides with his pulls to force a 4v5 clash later (or even 3v5 if he's real good). But in terms of hard to kill, nada.
Tigreal. At the moment, I find him pretty darn easy to handle. Easy to dodge his ult unless he threw you in the air first. I haven't played with his passive, but I feel like it's so.... crappy. He's not hard to kill imo unless he's got a good team to back him up though. |
