Just this month I noticed that a LOT of players are experiencing HORRIBLE ping and lag. By the way, I'm from the Philippines and many pinoy players are having a ridiculous ping of 250-280ms when playing classic and ranked games despite how good our connection is. And also this happens not only once but many times already!
It was like 4/10 of my classic/ranked games will be affected by that horrible lag. And not just that, the lag would be steady in the WHOLE game. I don't know the reason behind this but I play with a stable connection. I know it isn't my network's fault and also not my phone. I'VE LOST SO MANY STARS, WINRATE AND GAMES BECAUSE OF THIS STUPID LAG! PLEASE FIX IT ASAP! IT'S VERY ANNOYING ON THE PART OF PLAYERS!

If this method not working, please contact in game customer support (located on the top left corner blue headset icon).
Go to help and select bug report. Also mention your server and device model with screenshot of the lag.

I advise you to play with other games, for ex. A0V, there is no lag like in ML.
I have been reading forum threads for 2 weeks now, as I have same problems as you. Huge amount of players have this issue. Customer Service is aware, but they dont solve it apparently they can not, or dont intend to, does not metter... This moderator, BD007, is writing this same answer to everyone, but he also knows CS does not help, neither does his advices.

I've also tried turning on my location when playing ranked games but it doesn't seem to work. And there was 1 time I got matched with a bunch of indonesians with my location turned on and I'm from the Philippines. And it got really laggy.
I also noticed that whenever we get matched with countries like singapore, vietnam and most of all INDONESIA our ping goes really high.
In the picture below, you will see that my ping in the home interface is around 280ms. But whenever I enter a lobby, my ping would go normal like around 50-70ms only. And as soon as i get in-game, sometimes my ping would stick to 250-280ms whole game. That's why I always lose. I don't know why this happens and this has never happened to me before. My friends are also experiencing this problem.
