Normally CS will be via in-game CS as email CS is prioritised for account related issues like lost/hacked accounts, so be on a look out for the in-game CS.
In the future , refrain from contacting the email CS for any other issues (including payment issues) except for account problems (hacked/lost accounts). Email is only for account issues.

The best way is to purchase the diamonds yourself in the MLBB app itself, but if for any reason that the user prefer to buy it through reseller like codashop;
1. Check that the reseller is verified and official reseller of diamonds
2. Best thing to do is to ask the receiver of the diamonds to purchase it themselves, and do not ask anyone to do it for them (like you helping your friend to purchase it for him in your situation)
3. Keep all purchase invoices for bugs like this scenario (good thing you kept the invoice)
