Wow, am I ever so sick of the "Events" area having a little red dot that I have click on to make go away.  Also, the "Group" area constantly harrasses about joining another group.

Is anyone else as annoyed as I am that I have to keep clicking on these things over and over to make the notifications go away?

Its kinda depends but it bothers me too.
And i am not rest easy until its gone to be honest.
Thankfully i have found another person with same result.

But I agree. My OCD making me annoyed with the red dots especially when you clicked them alread and they are not new announcements. I don’t mind current event red dots but the news ones are the most annoying.

I agree. Before these big updates you dont have to click every single notification, you can just click the Events and it will be gone. Now they changed the Events thing my fingers are soring from tapping too much

Yes, annoying. Especially the featured walls. I thought sometimes there is a new event when the red dot is showing, but just the walls. Maybe devs will add a tick buttons that will disable the notifications of these featured walls just like what they did to event's claim rewards.

i agree with all thoughts here.  it seems acceptable to show the red dot the first time anything appears, but after that it's almost harassment.

haha, it's pretty clear that they're hated.  hopefully that will be taken into consideration.
