It coukd be 10,20,50 or 100.
I just dont want someone to test hero in rank game for first time.
And as other said, i understand one thing.
Every thing even win rate also depend on matchmaking.
You can either get good team or bad team depends on the matchmaking.
Some cases are exeptional where you do get good team but lost one battle which turns in to defeat or someone from enemy push turret and deetroy bases even before you noticed.
Other post someone also mentioned that solo player should only meet solo players only. He wants to create seperase room for solo or duo/trio/5 man team.
So my main point is, to get good team mates and good matchmaking. There Should be some rules like you play minimum 10/20/50/100 matches with a hero in order to play him in rank . Harder afk and feeder punishment.
This will prevent them to do same thing next time.
Ultimately this will create a healthy gaming environment which will help mlbb in long run.

1. Bad : Forcing people to play before they can play never worked in any game in all my gaming experience. Moreover, creating a new account would be a hassle.
2 and 3 are okay.

This is a MoBA game, stop making suggestion like 1 where you want to fix a person's mindset. Expect people to troll, afk or feed, cause that's what happens in every MoBA.
Just push rank far enough like Legend 1 and you'll start to encounter the majority of players that care's enough about winning not trolling.
Making heavy changes because of some stupid Epic and below rank players is just unnecessary.

It's actually good if we have an experience meter for each hero.
Only if you fill up this meter will you be able to use the hero in Rank.

Victories will give more experience than Defeats.
That way people will try to do good.

Recently seeing so many players using new heroes or meta heroes even if they played 0to 5 matches.That most of the time seems burden for whole team.
Hope this can prevent some of those.

The game mechanics and personalities that play are varied so greatly that putting in metrics like those suggested (aside from option 1 and 2) are pointless, except for game developers / engineer type of people to say "we're doing something about it".

It's a social-human problem.
Some players are just in game to cause havoc and they get their kicks/fun more out of that than they do winning/playing the game.
For them, the game IS TO ANNOY people, and see a reaction out of them.
How do you fix that...?

So testing a new hero in rank is ok for you?
Because nobody wants to loose star on purpose.
I get your point and you wre right on some aspect.
But think about everyone.

Yup... please see my "new hero". It's Akai and I'm still trying to master Akai (that's why I have a baby panda as my avatar here on the forums).

Questions...How do you make 'everyone happy' at the same time?
And who is "everyone"? I'm not as popular as some people so I don't know 'everyone' here on the forums (because by what you are saying the players on these forums represent 100% of everyone who plays MLBB, so if everyone on the forums votes, then it represents 100% of the player population...
