Opinion about current rank matchmaking system

Recently i am facing strange matchmaking in eank game.
I am not sure official arranged such system to prevent 2-2-1 or just to help legend players.
If first one then i understand.
But if 2nd one then please don't.

I am mythical glory rank and i constantly facing legend in my team.
95% time i do solo and this is very bad for me.

Now you people think mythic and legend are same.
But hold on, they are not same at all.

Just giving you some examples.
Scene 1. Rank game 1.
I picked claude and showed wr 400+ matches 70%.
So my gave me claude first pick.
Then my fellow legend pro player picked layla.
Because we didn't give him miya.
His miya 19 matches 45% wr
My claude 404 matches 70% wr.
Now you tell me.

Scene 2. Rank game 2.

Enemy pick claude
I showed my hanabi wr.
And my team gave me hanabi.
But my so called pro legend team mate picked miya because he is miya pro with 7 matches.
And in game he fed.

Scene 3. Rank 3.
Same, my team mate picked alucard while our team has no tank at all.
And guess what. He is from legend rank also.

Just 3 example. Played 20 matches today.
Only won those matches with full mythic team.
And lost all of the legend team rank game.

My question is, why am i seeing legend?
If there is not enough mythum player then please stop the matchmaking. I will understand. I will play later.
Better than so called pro legend miya, legend alucard, legend layla etc.

The rule js very simple.
Legend should be matchup with legend only.
Mythic should be matchup with mythic only.

1 or 2 game i understand.
But constantly facing 2-3 legend in my team that is out of my understanding. I am not sure about other ranks. Please comment.

What so you guys think?

i honestly think that matchmaking should be based on past games (win strx) and overall rank winrate. i hate when on my main theres a grandmaster while im legend. all ranks should play with their own. unless you're squadmates or friends, maybe u can play together

1 or 3 I don’t care how long the queue times get I want to rank with people of the same tier. There’s no point in tiers if a Mythic can just straight up match with Epics or a GM with Epic matching up with Legend. This can also help increase the chances playing with people of the same skill level. Most 100 star Mythics are noticeably stomping on less than 10 star Mythic, Legends, and Epics. Also the 221 problem. As proposed in the past, queue should be single, 3-2, and 5 or just singles and 5 to prevent 3-2 squad matching for advantage especially in NA servers where there is not much players.

Exactly my point.
I dont mind waiting for 5-10 mins for matching up.
Instead of getting legend tier awesome who does not even have proper idea of hero picking or just pick layla or alu or miya to troll. I have my respect for legend players.
Its just my bad luck that i got those awesome legend players.

Well... personally i have mixed feelings about this. You show us what you are matched with, but i'm curious what you are matched up against also :) My points is would you be bothered to play with 3 legends if you are also matched up against 3 legends ? To me that would be fair. But if you are playing with 3 legends against 4 mythic and 1 legend than that's what i consider unfair match up.


My primary request for the matchmaking is what is on one side to be also on the other.

Here you can see an avarage ranked game in legend. Trash everywhere, i just dont know why.....i lost more then 10 ranked games in a row, because of having at least 2 afk or 1 intentional feeder.


Also there is a bunch of matchmaking that should not happen.

Mythic and epic or legend and gm in the same team, and there was no premade team.

You have right, why do we have rank tiers if they dont have any point? A gm can be matched up with master or with mythic. Funny. Of corse, both cant happen in the same game, but still the epic rank is weird, you can be matched up againts everyone.

as an indonesian you should know there are so many jockey accounts (paid to rank up) and it won't be surprise even mythic glory will feed =D and so many toxic players

it won't make much difference between epic legend or mythic =D unless they segment it to mythic glory vs mythic glory only

sometimes you see epic in legend/mythic match is because epic same room with legend =D
