Why use Map Hack?

This is the question that keeps on bugging me in every online game that I play.

Why use hacks? Why cheat?

Is it apparent that the lack of skills of oneself resort you to use such tool to gain advantage?

Does it give you self-worth upon being able to manage to get ahead with it?

I admit that I have used hack tools on my younger years as curiosity hits me... But using such tool after 30 minutes,  I get bored and turn it off.

I play games for fun... To feel adrenaline in every minute that a single mistake could end up me dieded or something... To be able to outwit anyone with your own skill... To win with the feeling of accomplishment and pride...

Does it give you the same when using these hacking tools?

I have a couple takes on this:

1. I dont want to belittle what others chose to take pride in.  I agree with you, that life has so much more to offer than just video games, but thats you and I.  Others may take great joy and pride in what they accomplish, and I dont want to take that away from them....

however

2. Cheating to get what you want in life truly embodies the spirit of what you are referring to.  Taking pride in something you have cheated on...  is like kicking your golf balls back into the fairway and thinking you actually played a good round.

Cos I play solo, so why wouldn't I?

Also, I don't actually cheat, so don't inspect my account or anything cos you won't find much there except for my 10 mark losing streak cos I decided to play solo. So yeah.

Couple Reasons:

1. Money.  Many of these idiots are uploading youtube videos of their domination and getting views.
2. Respect.  Everyone loves to be adored, and they realize that they will never be pro-level where they will get exposed for the low-skill player they are.  Everyone wants to brag to their friends how high their ranking is.

Thats the greed of a human but it does not apply to all...

It just shows insecurity of that person towards others.
