No notification on comments section

I use comment section alot, and yes it will give notification if someone comment on my post. But why it doesn't give any notification when we comment on someone's post? It's hard to keep track on post to check if someone reply to my comment.


Suggestion, there are two similar options :
1) give notification when someone also comment to the post we were comment on
2) if it's hard to implement, bring the nametag feature on comment section so we can tag someone so they can reply to our comment


Any other ideas will be appreciated

yea i noticed i wasn't getting any notifications for the comment section and I think a name tag feature would help

In case someone commented on your post, it should give you notification. If not then something is wrong. I will ask my supervisor to look on to this. Thanks for your valuable feedback.

I notice I only got a notification for the people I friends with while other people is 50/50 and most of times it happened with both reply and comments too

In my understanding, you will only be notified if's:

- if someone commented/replied to YOUR POST
- if someone commented/replied to YOUR REPLY ON A POST THAT YOU DON'T OWN
- if someone mentioned you

I think the solution is to be notified on a post that you got yourself involved to, whether it's just a reply or comments or you were just mentioned, as long as your name is there, you will be notified in any threads.
