I'm using an iPhone 5s, everything has been smooth up until the latest update. Now it's sometimes crashing multiple times per match. Need some help.

Try lite mode, and mlbb is coming with new version which is really lite. You can wait for a bit.
In the mean time you can contact in game cs and let know know about this.

Have u tried
1. Clear cache
2. Restart your device
3. Reinstall game (backup first)
