Hey guys ! Lately i've seen lots of people complaining about soloQ...and matchmaking who can be really disappointing..I myself am a SoloQ player so i know the struggle..However, i can tell you a few tips that may help you increase your chances on the fields. Basically some things you need to consider when playing alone. So here goes.

》 Learn at least 2 heroes of every role. Yes this is important. Because if you don't get to play your main role..at least you need to know how to play other roles that your team needs. And yes i said what "team needs" because even if you're playing solo queue, this isn't a one man match. So you need to take in consideration your team composition and what your team needs.

》 Be FLEXIBLE. Using only Alucard forever won't land you anywhere. So play what's needed in the team..don't start trashtalking/intentionally feeding/afk if you don't get to play what you want. We all lose a star because of that you know.

》 Talk less play more . A cancer player is like an enemy of the team and it becomes 6v4. DON'T be the cancer or don't entertain them. Remember you can MUTE players while being in the match so use it if you feel disturbed by a toxic teammate or enemy and pay attention to what you have to do.

》Watch how PROs rotate. Youtube has tons of videos where you can learn how to rotate perfectly. Staying on one lane untill the end won't get you anywhere.

》MAP AWARENESS AND PREDICTION. Get in the shoes of the enemies and predict their whereabouts so that you won't get ambushed. This is a very common way to die continuously and randomly if you ask me. Always check the mini map. Always watch where your teammates and enemies are and also PING when an enemy is missing from your lane. This may help other teammates prevent a possible gank.

》Picks and Counter picks. Pick your hero according to your team composition and also the enemy team. Don't pick a hero that has too many counters in the enemy team ! ALSO, learn which hero counters which, this will help you a lot. For example. If the enemy team has Saber or Helcurt, lolita chou..please don't pick Fanny ..you will fail big time against them.

》Don't overextend. Some heroes are just not meant to roam alone. ( you can do that with heroes that have mobility and dash skills tho). So if you know you can't run and enemy is missing on the map...don't go killing minions alone when your team is far away from you. You're feeding and tripping.

》Destroying turrets and protecting them is the main goal. Don't get carried away by kills unless it's guaranteed. You will be loosing precious farm.

》 Objectives. Yes, objectives are real and they are also important. Keep in mind that mages need buff and also assassins..Oh and please, if you already have a buff..don't take the 2nd one aswell..buffs don't stack so it's pointless to take both. Another teammate might need it more. Try to take the turtle or steal it from the enemies since it gives additional gold to all team members and don't forget to take the lord or steal it from the enemies since lord is the best split pusher here. But remember. If all enemies are alive..don't risk taking the lord and get ambushed. It's safer to take it when most of the enemy team is dead.

Basically guys..these easy tips is information that every solo player should know. Doing so will help you even when you feel like your team isn't helping you enough..Feel free to give your own advice to us solo players out there .

Very nice guide for solo players.
I have played as a solo player for 3 years.
I agree with you.

Also, i want to add some points:
- I created a "Feeder List" for myself. (I wrote to the notebook ) When i play with them, i dont pick my main.
- I can understand from the spelling of their names that the player is good or bad (troll, feeder etc.). So if the player is bad, i dont pick my main.
- If your teammates fight each other, you can say them "calm down, it is only game" or "please dont feed, this hero is my main, i dont want to lose mmr." etc.
Thank you so much for guide. :3

watching how the pro's rotate is probably the biggest tip you can give, in this game rotation is everything. doesn't matter what you pick. if you give the advantage by failing your rotation your basically giving the win

100% agreed with this. specially to high star mythic, because a simple mistake in rotation might take you in a disadvantage stage. but for the mythic super low star up to low tier, it's hard to execute the rotation even the basic one specially in solo q.

so for me, in this game rotation is not everything specially low tier.
and what you pick will always matter. if you can't use meta heroes properly, don't push your self.
it's better to pick your best non meta heroes, but make sure you can contribute as well.

peace yow!

》 Learn at least 2 heroes of every role.
》 Be FLEXIBLE.
I haven't learned that many heroes yet, but definitely good to expand your options.

》 Talk less play more .
Oh my, this one really bugs me.  Who does it help to trash talk your own teammates?  If you're a chatty type, be a leader and advise your teammates on when to rotate when to push.  Don't spam degrading name calling

》Watch how PROs rotate.
Yes!  Rotation is key to playing better, learned that the hard way.  I find it hard to copy youtube since they have a tank and or support helping them out and they help them in return, rarely happens in solo.  But depending on the situation something so simple like instead of pushing go help your teammates getting 2v1 goes a long way

》MAP AWARENESS AND PREDICTION.
Gonna admit I'm not good at this yet. Trying though

》Picks and Counter picks.
huhu not there yet, next season!

》Don't overextend.
Agree.  Will add fine line between putting pressure and being reckless.  Remember the closer you are to their base the faster they can rotate to get you

》Destroying turrets and protecting them is the main goal. Don't get carried away by kills unless it's guaranteed. You will be loosing precious farm.
Gonna be a smart alec is it? I thought we in  kill kill kill meta? hehe

》 It's safer to take it when most of the enemy team is dead.
Can you put this in 30 point font caps? seriously such a momentum swing if a couple of your teammates dies trying foolishly for lord and the enemy steals lord.  To borrow a sports term "power play" lord is about man advantage not damage per second

Comments

turrets are the main objective. even if you get 100 kills but enemies destroy your base 1st, you lose the game unless you are going for mvp loss or poor winrate.  Post time 2019-9-19 03:20 PM

Well for the lower tier players i always suggest to just try to do the current rotation over and over until its easy for them...they can try it in a trio or something which could make it somewhat easier

If we're talking about lower tiers..it's good to practice rotation even then, to get used to it..cause it will get easier for you when you rank up to higher tier..
Also, a good advice that i forgot to write down..if your lane is becoming difficult, or you get ganked often, just swap lane..instead of going bot, just go top, farm there untill lane is pushed, take the jungle mosters, recall, and then swap lane again..maybe go botlane or mid and do the same : clear wave, clear jungle, rotate again. this is a simple rotation, you can surprise your enemy this way and have an advantage.

yeah. trio can be possible, but for solo. it is so hard.
if you rotate with no team cooperation, the outcome are not the same as high star mythic.
so the possibility of getting worst is high. practicing the rotation in low tier is high recommended.
but in solo q. i didn't say it's not, but the chance of being fail are high since random team every game.

even high star mythic experiencing this kind of situation when they try to solo at the beginning of the new season. there are so many obstacle on the rotation included your team mate. who will last hit the objectives. like blue, crab, and turtle.

just my thoughts and a little experience. XD

yeah, highly recommended.
but for a solo q with low tier its a high risk.
well this is only my opinion XD.
so for me, for better understanding the rotation, better make a team to execute that well.
