How to Counter X-Borg

so you guys think i wrote this guide and no use?
i played 220 matches with xborg and i don't know h ...

1. Granger 2. Kimmy - most MM with heavy burst can strip any heroe's HP. Doesn't mean counter. They need farm for that burst capability (Kimmy & Granger definitely advantage here). Also doesn't solve the matter of invulnerability when his armor bursts, giving him a dash to have a chance to disengage. But Granger pretty good choice to burst him, or anyone else, yeah. Just need enough farm.
3. Lance, Haya, Gusion - properly farmed burst assassins can kill most heroes in 1 combo. Not really a counter. more like "Gusion OP!" also his passive gives him survivality - where other heroes dead, X.Borg rolled away
4. karrie - has shorter range than most mm I think? I think Karrie might just have to retreat from X.Borg true dmg before she can land 5 atks on him (again, MMs have advantage on most Hero in late game)
Terizla not very familiar, so pass.
5. Esmarelda, harith, Harley, Lylia, Lunox - Meta/almostMeta mages are good against most heroes. If used properly are best against him I think(out of all heroes you mentioned) Just be aware of his passive

I do think there's no proper counter for X.Borg. I haven't played as him but played against him with a variety of heroes.
I think your 2nd part about tips are more useful (1st part is just list of best Meta MM/assassin/Mages)
One thing I'd add is be aware of his passive & plan around it. Like, for a burst hero, you can't kill him & he will retreat with passive.

This is not not the 1st "Counter X.Borg" I've seen & they are all similar ("Burst him down"), which is why I say he has no proper counter. His kit is just like that. I think the best way to deal with such a hero is to get very familiar with the skills & passive & play around it.

So don't be offended. If you have other strategy than "Burst him down" (which counters every single hero. No hero can counter death ) do tell. Problem is his passive makes bursting him harder so you have to pick meta heroes & play well overall.
Also, I wouldn't say "no use". Currently "Burst him down" seems to be best effect against him so your list of Meta MM/Mages will be better against him compared to other heroes.

PS: I'm definitely not a pro, just a casual low-rank player, so all this is definitely just my personal opinion. So if Granger has a special burst ability against X.Borg compared to other enemies, I don't know about it.

The most useful way to counter xborg is to avoid his ultimate and attack him after that when he is vulnerable to any cc or damage without immunity. What i said here is from my own experience. I played almost like 250 matches with xborg now and also played against xborg. Now my another fav hero to counter xborg is chang'e. Her ultimate really destroys xborg's armor like its nothing.

Also X.Borg ulti-ing in the middle of teamfights definitely changes the flow of the game. Once we all tried to avoid it & lost a team-fight we were winning

I like Masha against X.Borg too. I just ignore his ulti if I have 2 or 3 life bars remaining & start attacking. Her skills + Corrosion Scythe to slow him down while my allies come back after running away from ulti.

not only masha, dyrooth can 1v1 xborg too. Karrie can but hard. But masha, dyrooth can easily go for 1v1 against xborg.
