How to catch up after 1 year of not playing?

Help please.

Link me to some guide or just tell me about:
1. Meta pick and the current line up (don't tell me about the top team line up..just the usuall solo line up)
2. How to lane?
3. I have 54000bp++..which hero to buy for rank (the hero should not be ban 100%)
4. Jungle buff..what have changed?
5. Maybe which emblem or item to buy (not that important since I can just look up the top players build)

Your help is very much appreciated.

Maybe someone can educate me about this hack account issues I'm seeing. Not sure if this is a concern or not

Stopped for a year too cause of the business last 2018-19 so I understand the need to be updated.

1.) I assume your on low elo so it doesn't matter cause everybody wants to pick what they want but assassin heroes kinda rule this previous patch at least for me.
2.) Well depends on the hero of your choosing.
3.) Again I don't know your hero preference or what hero role you are good at so.
4.) Jungle Buffs
5.) Depends again on the hero you usually happy to use.

Regarding on the Hacking and Banning of accounts, well they say as long you don't use any 3rd party apps that mess up the script of the game and you don't show/share any vital information on your account to anybody or any site then your good.

If I may ask you to elaborate more about laning:
1. I would like to know which lane is the best for each role. Disregard team composition..or assuming balance line up (mage, tank, mm, fighter, assassin).
2. I don't main any role. But if I have to pick my top 3..Mage, fighter, tank. Least pick role is MM (I hate farming and prefer ganking/team fight)

I'm not a really pro player here but base on my experience most of the time.

1.) FTR/ASN usually takes the Top, MM takes Mid or Bot, Mage takes Mid or Bot too, 2 tanks or 1 tank and 1 Sup. This goes like this 1 - 2 - 2 or 1 - 3 - 1
2.) Atlas (Tank) or Cecilion (Mage) are new and somewhat good in rank and if I would estimate their ban rate would be less than 50%.

Wait for others opinions so you'll have other ideas and options.

The power shifted greatly to Marksman now, and Assassins are almost nonexistent at this poi ...

If mm is the meta right now..nata should be good to pick of back line mm. Kaja and chou should be good as well.

From my time grinding from GM 2 all the way to epic..there are not that many decent MM players. I can easily kill the with mage. Maybe I would see the MM meta in higher tier.

Don’t ...play something else games hacked...if someone likes your account they can hack it easy...so save yourself some money and time/..

Fighters are almost non existence, only some supportive fighters are still picked ( Silvanna, Thamuz etc)

Tanks now are fighter, even now...tanks damage is already so ridiculous. And the next patch will officially make tanks a fighter with the new emblem and some tanks like grock getting buff on physical item bonus.

Mages now are support and support now are mages.

Assassin and MM now are a rival because this meta is all about whose getting the buff and items first. But people mostly depend on MM for late game potential.

Overall, I could say, just stop playing ML. Its not worth your time. Moonton now is blinded by money, they cant see whats happening with their own game. I dont want to explain long but im leaving this game for good...

Lol..what happen to this community. So many complains nowadays. If you want to quit..just quit. I already did it last year mainly because the game became less fun and more toxic. Then I get over it and just want to try it some more.

I already read your thread about quitting. So no need to spread your cancer here.
I know you got your reason to quit, that doesn't mean I have to acknowledge it. I just want to know some of the high tier advice on the game so that I can perform better in it. That's all I want for now.

Stop thinking that you quitting going to make a difference in this game. Then trying to get players to quit the game to somehow justified your reason. Get over yourself.

All in all, I do appreciate your insight about the current meta. Good day to you sir/madam.

1. First Pick -> Selena, Helcurt, Claude, Grock, Hylos, Atlas, Khufra, Karrie, Natalia.

2. - Basic Strats -> 1-2-2
        1 Offlaner (Fighter), 2 Mid (Assasins/Mage + Tank/Support), 2 Safelane (MM/Core Heroes + Tank/Support)
       
- Hyper Carry -> 1-3-1
2 Fighters (1 on bottom + 1 on top), 3 People on mid ( MM/Core Heroes + Tank + Support)
        or
1 Fighters on Top, 1 Tank on Bottom (Doing solo, just focus to clear the waves on early game), 3 People in mid (MM/Core Heroes + 2 Support).

3. You should buy Grock/ Khufra/ Hylos/ Valir/ Karrie.

4. The red buff is coming back, they changed the bottom lane's buff into Red buff. Only MM/Core Heroes should take it.

5. You should upgrade all of it except Common Physical and Mage Emblems.
