[Unclassified] Account Recovery Guide (Hacked Accounts)

Hi All,

I've been hacked recently and I was able to recover my account within 24 hrs without Moonton's customer support
, so i'm back again to share my experience and what to do if your account got hacked in detail.

Note:
This guide works perfectly fine if your Moonton Account is still binded on your MLBB account. Otherwise, skip to Step 7 for Customer Support and read through the Special Note section.

Step 1:
Make sure you secure your Moonton Account first, change email and password. Create and/or secure your emails (3rd Party apps: Google Play, Facebook and VK) that you'll be using to bind your MLBB 3rd party account. Use the "Two-Step Verification" and "Google Authenticator" security setting on all your email and social media platforms/3rd party apps.

For iOS users, Game Center is shown instead of Google Play Store, log in your MLBB on an Android Device or PC Android Emulator to check and secure your account more efficiently. Hackers usually use Google Play and VK to bind their account and you won't be able to see their Google if your currently using an iOS. PC Android Emulators options: NOX, MUMU, LDPlayer. Step 2:
Change/Transfer your Moonton on your NEW email using the Account Settings > Account Center. Follow validation procedures stated there.

Step 3:
Check your "Followers", you'll probably notice new followers and that includes dummy accounts of the hackers or the hacker itself, screen shot all their account details, diamond gifting history (from his Streaming Info) and block all of them.

Step 4:
Go to Account Settings > Account Center > Sign out all Devices. You'll be fighting for access and control in real time with the hacker. Make sure that he won't have a chance to open or play on your MLBB. Keep doing this and take note of the time on every attempt he's trying to log you out as well (So that you can kick him off when he is asleep).

Always repeat this step everytime he logs in. For me I stayed awake for 20 hrs to kick him off. Or else he'll deliberately ban your account by using map hacks, cheats, etc.

Step 5:
Try to unbind the hacker's account by going to Account Settings > Account Center > 3rd Party Account Disconnect > select account > Enter Moonton account to Disconnect. Follow the validation procedures as stated.

If you're lucky, you'll be able to unbind those account immediately but if you're not, you'll receive this System Message "Dear Player, You're logging in on a new device or a new region. For your account security, please contact Customer Service to continue"

Step 6:
"The trickiest part" and it takes a lot of "perseverance". The System Message you received has a backdoor process. You need to play ranked games, it does not matter if you win or loose. Invite friends to help you out. It will take about four (4) to nine (9) "CONSECUTIVE" rank games. If your hacker logged in inbetween your play, your count resets to ZERO as your region is changed again from where he is.

Every after ranked game you finish, it's important to try and repeat Step 5 until the System Message is gone.

Make sure that your 3rd party accounts are ready (Gmail, FB, VK), as soon as you're able to unbind the hacker's accounts bind yours immediately. You must be real quick!!! NEVER allow him to play ranked games, he'll do the same and unbind your accounts.

The hacker did this to me as well, he played rank games several times then he managed to unbind my Google Play and attached his own Google and VK account. Good thing my Moonton and Facebook is fully secured.

Step 7:
Go again to Account Settings > Account Center > Sign out all Devices. Observe your account if further breach will occur. If he can still access your account, repeat step 1.

Report your case to MobileLegendsGame@gmail.com, send the screen shots and provide them details needed: IGN/Player#, server#, phone used for MLBB, proof of ownership like your oldest diamond purchase, screenshots from Step 3 with details.

Special Note:
Use all 3rd party app bind feats of MLBB: Google Play, Facebook and VK. Create one if you still haven't got. For iOS users, use Andoid Device / PC Android Emulator then bind a Google account. Game devs always have reminded their players to make sure you 100000000% secure and bind your Moonton Account, if not your account will be dead. If you've lost your Moonton Account, i'm afraid these guide won't be of any help to you.

Double check your "Signed in Devices" on your 3rd party apps and log off any suspicious devices that is not yours.

On some rare cases, after doing the Step 6 while you're trying to bind your own Gmail, others might receive a System Message "The account you want to use is already connected" or "Unable to bind account (-16), please contact customer support for assistance." It's okay, the important thing is that you've already managed to unbind your hacker's account. Just keep on trying to bind yours after few games or minutes and it will proceed eventually.

You also have an alternative option for Step 6: lower your Credit Score to <60 for AI and Custom Mode gameplay only, but I won't recommend this because I believe MLBB can detect 3rd party apps even if you're up against an AI so there is a highrisk that the hacker might intentionally ban your account.

Another alternative option for Step 6: Play Custom Battle on MLBB using PC Android Emulator. Keep it running until you have ample time to deal with your hacked account. Your hacker won't be able to log in to your account for as long as you're in game. Though this one is still an UNCONFIRMED method.

As for the question, how i got hacked? I don't have an idea. I didn't use hacks, cheat, clicked nor register my account details on any websites or links. I only use the legal and official platforms specially for puchasing in game items. I'm not stupid enough to put my account at risk after investing 4 years worth of time here. This might be a MLBB security breach of some sort. He got away with my remaining diamonds but I got lucky I was able recover my account, or else my "indonesian" hacker will be asking for some ransom or intentionally banning the account.

I really hope Moonton will improve their Customer Support, Moonton security features and I hope this will help others with the same Hacking Issues. BTW I reported my case to the customer support on May 15, 2020 and until present no one reached me. So with that said, GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!

I appreciate the DMs I received for those guys that have already recovered their account using this guide. Congrats and good job for your hardwork (Specially for reading and following this long guide!). I would appreciate if you would post here or on the Official MLBB Facebook page more feedbacks about this guide if you were successful in recovering your account or if you had encountered difficulties that I haven't mentioned above.

Thanks for sharing this. I was able to unbind the hacker’s account. However he was still able to access it. Moonton security is breached.

I have played 11 consecutive ranked games but still am unable to unbind the hacker’s Google account. Please help!

I don't think we can view those logged in devices using our Moonton. But you could try to check your email address or 3rd party apps and log out all unrecognized devices there too. For this reason, only games devs can really help you out bro since you can't remember your moonton email address..

although it is not official from MOONTON but if this really helpful for hacked account issue experienced by many players, this could be one way out

It is always recommended that any problems can be reported by contacting in game CS or sending an email to MobileLegendsGame@gmail.com

Hopefully hacking issue will be fully handled by the Devs soon

Soooo apparently, I posted the same guide on MLBB Official Facebook group page and it got deleted for unknown reason. What gives? Posted comments on that thread and DMs on me clearly shows that this guide works and yet it got deleted for what??

BTW, this guide was always updated based on the feedbacks I received on those who tried and were successful retrieving their account. It's all up to you if you'll try this or not.

I've done everything and contacted moonton CS they have not yet responded to me tho, the problem is I don't remember my moonton email address, I've tried the Retrieve Account function but it still can't help me remember my email address

The thing is, the hacker has not yet binded his third party accounts on my account and I keep doing the sign out of all devices yet he can still access my account, I really don't know how he does it and it ticks me off so much

If that's the case, it would be most likely that he have access on your Moonton and uses that to log in since as you have said that there are no 3rd party apps binded on your account. It's better to bind and use those feats yourself and I hope Customer Support will assist you promptly.

For the mean time you can do the alternative Step 6 until such time that your case would be solved.
