How to complete mastery codes of another hero in classic, getting high winrate?

In the last weeks, my matches with my main are becoming harder (I've been swinging between master 1 and grand master 4 for about 2 months). I'd like to complete the mastery codes of another hero keeping its winrate as high as possible playing in classic before the next update, but I'm worried about matchmaking.
I have some questions (I don't know if it's possible to make more polls in a single topic).
Is it better to play solo queue or with friends?
What is the best solution between duo, trio and 5 men team?
What is the best solution between playing same rank teammates, lower ranks teammates and higher ranks teammates?
Is it a good idea having apprentices?
Is it a good idea having mentors?

Matchmaking is a bit tricky one, I was able to maintain my 80% overall winrate with like 5-6k matches by simply adjusting to what role is missing somehow. You can also ask nicely for people to switch heroes. Might have decoded the trick behind it, hope this helps. This is solo q btw.

Trio is always helpful cause if the 2 rest people doesn't do that much u can still carry the game

For me i will say trio or 5 man

If u play with higher rank people the chances of getting higher rank opponent increased and play with lower rank people the chances of getting same or lower rank player increase that's all

Yea of course...u can teach a new player what u know share u knowledge about the game

It;s better to maintain winrate in rank instead of classic. Classic is used by most people to try hero they haven't or rarely use. Even when I play with my friends party of 5. We always trolling like, using 5 tanks or 5 supports etc.

It's easier to win using 5 supports than using 5 tanks.
