Baiting your enemies to either engage, use up their skills, push towers, or even just go in to kill, and end up making them die, or waste all that effort for nothing, is something the players look at or seem to ignore, despite the fact that many have been constantly using this tactic. Yet known to few as majority lacks comprehension of this, and more often than not ignores anything else in the map and starts tunneling to see what they want to do, which is more often the cause of the game.

There are various bait tactics and strategies for you to bait your rivals. Essentially, you just need to use the right one in the right situation and make the best of the situation, aside from baiting. It involves both squad cohesion and teamwork to the point that you will excel and drag yourself into victory or you can continually find yourself getting outplayed or outnumbered regardless of what tactics you drag off.

The outcome of tricking the opponent
Baiting them to use their abilities more as their ultimate or fight tool, because they more often than not have long cool-downs.
If you can excel in making them use of their ultimate or combat spell chances, you and your squad will be in charge of the next coming fight, in which if you 're able to effectively flush the escape combat spell to a high priority goal, you can quickly click and zone the next squad fight. Which can make it an easy fight for you guys to win, or if you guys succeed in baiting enemies to use the ultimate fight, then more or less they'll be pushed to back off or avoid fighting to make you have more room to farm or get back into the game.

Taunting them to push the towers
Most often, those who push towers (especially when they think they 're undefended) are squishy heroes, such as a beacon or assassin, that will more or less leave them at a weak spot or in a position where it's hard for their teammates to follow up and build a window of opportunity for you guys to play.

Baiting them to pursue or indulge in objectives
If you trap them into objectives, it's more or less pressuring the opposing team to react to a bad spot, but the only thing that will make a difference is that the team needs to be in a decent place to lure them, or the other side would quickly get in and take out the entire squad.
Preparing for them to attack
That is the number one trick technique that most people can actually do, but refuse to truly grasp, as soon as they see a low-health opponent they 're going to kill, whatever happens. So most of the time, rather than creating a team lead, they either break it or turn the enemy's snowball into a late game.

I love baiting ultimate's and skills such as Chou, Saber and Khufra when playing Fanny, I just use the 3 cable bait and it is a free kill.
