= why match making system its (wrong) = // business strategy of moonton.
1- put veterans players with new players. (old players get angry == leave game == more server resources for new players).
2- new players means? incoming of money for moonton. (buy diamonds, buy skins, heroes, etc.)
3- (moonton) as a company doesnt want that (you) consume their resources (servers, energy, network, etc) but they wants consume your money (business).
4- (3 years) same match making system.
5- soo (match making system) will still suck.
6- maybe! when + comes out they will do something...
7- don't wait tomorrow what they didn't give you yesterday.
= match making system (how should it be) =
1- base on win rate of players, each season.
2- why each season? people are dynamic organisms, they become better players or worse players over time.
3- match making based on win rates:
team no.4999 = 5 players = 5 win rates
team no.4999 = 50% win rate (casual) + 60% (veteran) + 70% (tryhard) + 80% (pro) + 45% (smurf)
team no.4999 = 305% win rate / 5 players = [61%] for team no.4999
5- match team no.4999 [61% wr] with similar team by win rate. [61% vs 61%]
6- match making based on ranks (master, great master, epic, legend, mythic, etc) it never show the real performance of players, that its another worse of system. (i see lot of mythic playing like smurfs and lot of low elo playing like pros).
7- ranks as title! but not limiting the match making by ranks:
- glory mythic wr 70% > title
- mythic wr 65% > title
- legend wr 60% > title
- epic wr 55% > title
- great master wr 50% > title
- master wr 45% > title
- elite wr < 45% title |
