Region exclusive events

Honestly I feel that Moonton should not have region exclusive events, it's really unfair that some servers had a summer login box while others did not. It isn't even an issue of lisencing like the star wars event.

But, you could use VPN to get access to those region exclusive events and many of us use it as well, it is not illegal and it does not break any rules.

Many other players use VPN to get access to the event.

Instead of ban VPN, you encouriging people to use it.

That's why we have every day on EU server thousands of:

FIRST PICK LAYLA BRONZE FEEDER FROM PHILLIPINES OR INDONESIA.

People are still using VPN and playing with lag? I thought they will quit after losing many matches due to lag.

Maybe you are mistaking them based on their flag. Or they might be people from a different country living in the EU region and playing the game.

Because it doesn't make any sense for them to play in a server which lags too much and make them lose.

Unfortunately, day by day more and more vpn users on EU server. At first, it was only in the morning with Myanmar players, now it is all day long, almost in every game. 2-3 players use VPN and pick main roles(jungler,mage,marksman), it is often first pick layla with 20 games and 35% wr, cry all game how they have lag and near the end gone AFK. And yes, they are from Asia, i always check their profiles after the game.

I can think of two possibilities - those players might be using VPN or a bug in server detection algorithm that matches them with EU players

I remember being matched with Indonesia players who are 2000+ miles away from me when I connected with my office internet. There wasn't any lag because the network was superfast.

So there is a chance they might be matched up with EU players without using any VPN.

The simplest way to confirm this is asking the player themselves whether they are using VPN to play the game or not. If they are not using VPN, then there might be a bug in server detection algorithm. If that is the case, I would recommend you to report a bug with all the necessary details required.

If they are using VPN, then it will not be a simple thing to solve

Yes checking and verifying this bug alone might not be a simple task. If that's the case then the developers may need more details to verify this and I am not sure how they will handle this.

In either case, it's not going to be simple
