Wow my jaw literally dropped when Game J announced its prize pool on their world championship. 8 million freaking dollars!! It’s even higher on Lol prizepool i think. They even collab with the biggest moba in china Hero of glory. Game A is really bringing it. I was hoping for ML to make M3 the biggest esports of the year but Game A is making it hard. I was too focused on + when Game A is the one to watch. Can’t ML go to a million prizepool?? I mean they must have alot of money right? From skins, events and bytedance. Why can’t they increase their prizepool to a million? Is there any reason behind it coz I just can’t see why not considering how big ml is.

It's incredible how much money is invested and gained from games...I don't know why it still surprises me. It's funny cause there's still people who say games are for kids..yet there's certain game championships who fill a stadium more than a football match.

Why would they increase prizepool? MLBB Youtubers earning more than some of well known sportsmen. Take for example JessNoLimit, he is earning 4.5 million dollars per year and there are many many more youtubers who are earning thousands of dollars per month, they don't need any prize from tournements. They come there to take pictures with their fans.

I know being in ml is a prize already but increasing their prizepool wouldn’t hurt them and yeah you talk about those famous content creators but how about teams in other regions that are not popular? And their source of income is only  from prizepool? It would help those unpopular teams to participate and give them reason to grind harder and never lose hope because it’ll be worth it if you win since the prize is HIGH. Again, considering how much ml has grown financially after all these years I think it is only reasonable that the prize should be higher atleast at WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP.

Agree with you. Btw, time will tell coz ML has just recently started small scale World championship M1,M2. And I'm sure will soon reach those million prize pool in no time, considering how ML has improved in recent years with cool collabs and many more. ML started as a small company, so we can hope to see many more soon.

As you might or not have seen, the prizepool was announced at $850,000. Was quite surprising for me aswell but honestly a huge step in the right direction.
