For the upcoming March season, we plan to fully optimize the
less-often picked tank and fighter heroes to bring them back to
the limelight and give them credit where credit is due.
Starting from this patch, we'll roll out a series of adjustments
to these heroes, and may as well readjust or completely revert the
previous ones. Your feedback will be of great help to us in this
process, so please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any
comments and suggestions.
New System [Creation Camp]
Creation Camp, a new system that allows you to design your own
gameplay, will be available on the Advanced Server after this
update. Instant friendly matches, classic mode, early access to
trending gameplay, all in the Creation Camp!
[Revamped Hero: Panda Warrior - Akai]
We're making a few adjustments to Akai's skill set.
[Passive - Tai Chi]
Compared with the previous version, the shield duration is
increased. Akai can now mark enemies with both his Skill 1 & 2 and
can deal extra damage to marked enemies with his basic attacks.
[Skill 1 - Headbutt]
After a short delay, Akai charges in the target direction,
damaging enemies along the way and knocking the first enemy hero
hit airborne, after which he can roll in the same direction once.
If no enemy heroes are hit, he'll roll a short distance forward on
the ground.
[Skill 2 - Body Slam]
Akai opens his arms and smashes the ground with his body,
inflicting damage and slow on enemies in the area.
The following uses (↑) (↓) (~) to indicate Buff, Nerf, and
Adjustment.
[Hilda] (↑)
Despite being a headache to her enemies in the mid to late game,
Hilda has been distinctly underpowered in the laning phase. We're
adjusting her scaling to balance her strength throughout the game.
[Ultimate] (~)
Revamped: Hilda gains a permanent stack on each kill or assist (up
to 8 stacks) >> Hilda's skill and basic attack applies a mark to
the target on hit (up to 6 stacks)
Base Damage: 800-1000 >> 600-1000
Extra Damage Per Stack: 25-35 >> 60-100
Extra Damage At Max Stacks: 50% >> 35%
[Grock] (↑)
To help our old pal fare better in the new meta, we're granting
Grock a new power along with a few buffs on his crowd control. Now
Grock will have decent Physical Defense even with a full-damage
build, but may be more easily countered by magic enemies.
[Passive] (↑)
Removed Effect: Grock gains extra Magic Defense when near a wall.
New Effect: Grock gains 0.5 Physical Defense for each point of
extra Physical Attack he possesses.
[Skill 2] (↑)
The shockwave can no longer be blocked by Lolita's shield. Flying
distance also slightly increased.
[Ultimate] (↑)
Changed the name from Ancestral Gift to Earthen Force.
Removed Effect: Hitting a wall refunds 30% of the skill's
cooldown.
New Effect: Grock stuns nearby enemies for 1.2s upon hitting a
wall.
[Masha] (↑)
On top of the previous adjustments, Masha now deals increased
damage when her HP is low.
[Attribute] (↑)
Now each of Masha's HP bars can enjoy 100% of Masha's extra HP.
[Passive] (~)
Extra Attack Speed Per 1% HP Lost: 1% >> 1.8%
Max Extra Attack Speed: 80% >> 180%
Energy Regen greatly reduced.
[Skill 1] (~)
Base Damage: 120 >> 60
Extra Damage: 1%-2.5% of the Target's Max HP >> 1.5%-3% of Masha's
Max
HP Cost: 1%-1.5% Total HP >> 2.5%-3.5% of One HP Bar
[Skill 2] (↑)
The energy shock can now penetrate minions.
[Ultimate] (~)
Base Damage: 300-500
Extra Damage: 30%-50% of Masha's extra Max HP
HP Cost: 30% at All levels >> 30%-50%
[Atlas] (↑)
Atlas can now freeze his foes more easily, though for a shorter
time.
[Passive] (↑)
Revamped: Enemies affected by Frigid Breath will have their Attack
Speed reduced. Their Movement Speed will also gradually be reduced
over 3s, after which they'll be frozen for 0.5s.
[Johnson] (↑)
We're opening up the possibility for Johnson to take the EXP lane.
[Skill 1] (~)
Cooldown: 9-6s >> 8s at All Levels
[Skill 2] (↑)
Cooldown: 11-8.5s >> 10-8s
Base Damage: 100-175 >> 80-180
New Effect: Enemies hit by Johnson's Skill 2 will take 10%
increased damage from the next attack (up to 50%).
[Zhask] (↑)
We're granting Zhask a new Passive and increasing his
sustainability when his Ultimate is active.
[Passive] (~)
Revamped: Upon death, Zhask summons a frenzied Nightmaric Spawn on
the spot.
[Ultimate] (↑)
New Effect: The enhanced Nightmaric Spawn gains massive Magic
Lifesteal.
Enhanced Nightmaric Spawn's HP slightly reduced.
[Baxia] (↑)
We're boosting Baxia's initiation potential in the early game.
6 Extra Starlight Member Heroes:
Karrie, Helcurt, Chou, Akai, Gusion, Leomord
Mythic Battlefield has been out for over six months. By adjusting
some of the battlefield values specially for the Mythic rank, we
improved Mythic players' gaming experience without affecting that
of other players, which made us believe that this is the right
approach to improve everyone's experience.
This time, we plan to tailor heroes' attribute values. Due to
their special skill mechanics, a small number of heroes'
performance may vary drastically in different levels of play,
which makes it difficult for us to satisfy everyone using the same
set of values. Therefore, we're adjusting their base attributes in
different skill brackets while following the rules below:
1. The number of heroes with dynamic attribute values shall not
exceed 10 at any one time. We're still prioritizing the
optimization of the heroes themselves, and will only take this
approach when the optimization is proven ineffective.
2. These heroes will first be adjusted normally based on their
performance in Mythic play.
3. Only the base attributes will be affected. The skill casting
experience will remain unchanged.
4. Each hero may only have one dynamic attribute.
5. The effect only takes effect in Ranked, and is determined by
the highest rank of the members in the lobby.
In this patch, we're trying out this approach with Alice by
boosting her Mana Regen in lower play. We hope this will improve
her performance in lower-average play without affecting
higher-ranked matches.
Since there aren't many higher-ranked players on the Advanced
Server, we're only adjusting her Mana Regen in the Warrior and
Elite rank and will keep a close eye on the impact.
[Alice] (↑)
[Attribute] (↑)
[Warrior Rank] Mana Regen increased by 150%.
[Elite Rank] Mana Regen increased by 100%.
[Battle Spells]
[Retribution] (~)
We want tank junglers to stage more outstanding performances.
Retribution Effect at Full Stacks: 15 Physical Attack & Magic
Power >> 10 Physical Attack & Magic Power + 100 HP
[Bloody Retribution] (~)
Instead of the go-to for almost everyone, we want Bloody
Retribution to become the exclusive option for tankier heroes.
Damage and HP Regen: 12.5% Max HP >> 250 + 25% Extra HP
[Petrify] (↑)
New Effect: Petrified enemies will have their damage and Movement
Speed reduced by 25% for 3s.
[Sprint] (↑)
We want to see the skill be used more often. The extra Movement
Speed no longer decays over time.
[Equipment]
[Twilight Armor] (~)
We expect the revamped Twilight Armor to give tank heroes higher
sustained damage. The build path is also adjusted accordingly.
Attribute (Revamped): 1200 Max HP, 20 Physical Defense
[Unique Passive - Twilight] (Revamped)
Every 1.5s, the next attack deals extra Magic Damage equal to 20
plus 7% of the hero's Extra HP.
[Queen's Wings] (↑)
We're adding more force to the equipment's passive effect.
Attribute: 25 Physical Attack >> 15 Physical Attack.
[Unique Passive - Demonize]
Extra Spell Vamp 25% >> 35%
[Immortality] (↓)
Immortality has been a bit too powerful and versatile. It's time
to bring it down a bit.
Attribute: 40 >> 30 Physical Defense
[Blade Armor] (↑)
Blade Armor's damage reflection now poses too little threat.
[Unique Passive - Bladed Armor]
Additional Damage: 50% of the hero's Physical Defense

Finally! Akai is going to be revamped soon! But sadly, his new kit is disappointing. Here's some ideas for him to improve.
Passive: Great revamp of his passive. 1st and 2nd skill can now mark enemies. Please decrease the duration of shield to 3 seconds, but increase it's shield given. From 6% max hp to 8% max hp
Skill 1: It's not good at all. Bring back his 1st skill.
Skill 2: It's very good because of it's wide range, now what I suggest is to stun the enemies by 1 second currently marked by Blender. Goes well with his 1st skill too.
Ultimate: Nice idea to remove perma stun but it's too much. Akai silences pinned-to-the-wall enemies every 0.5 seconds for 3.5 seconds. Why not reduce the silence to 0.4 seconds? It gives enemies 0.1 seconds to use skills, making them able to escape. I hope this gets noticed.
