This also goes for any skill based movement or passive i.e WanWans/Ruby's leap, Balmond / Grock Charge etc
Why is this an issue? It triggers every 0.3 seconds on movement. This is where the majority of the damage comes from. If they are moving through skills that take 1 second to complete the animation, that's 1/4 of the damage lost.
Far out can we just revamp this ability? Lol This is like the 50th bug I've posted on this skill already it's honestly one of the worst skills in the game to use. It's clunky, slow to charge, small window hitbox, poor direct damage, DOT easily mitigated through shields / armour / standing still and buggy as.
I would've assumed the main reason its been like that since February last year is that nobody really noticed it and cared to report it. The ability does state movement, and travelling via cables is a form of movement. If we're potentially mitigating 100% of the main source of damage, that's a concern.
The main issue is that bleed is sustained DPS for a character that requires burst damage for that 4 second window. There isn't anything about the skill that buffs his basic attacks nor complements his passive by increasing his rage generation. It doesn't offer much in terms of utility aside from the 40% speed boost which can be cleansed and is useless when the target dashes over a wall.
The 0.8 second charge time also interrupts his basic attacks where 2-3 strikes could've been made in that time, takes longer to charge than the overall duration of his S1 stun (also minus the travel time as he reaches the target) and the short range, small window of attack.
As I've transitioned this season from Mythic to Mythical Glory, I understand that players will understandably be more difficult. The recent buffs and revamps of older heroes has made it more apparent that some heroes are far easier to navigate to use than others.
Meteoric Sword is definitely one of those abilities, to me anyway, is what is keeping him from actually achieving his potential.
